Harris County Aid for Rental and Mortgage Expenses

In Harris County, Texas, the diligent efforts of its residents are commendable. However, life occasionally throws unexpected challenges our way, making it challenging to meet even the most essential needs. Recognizing these difficulties, the Harris County Community Services Department is dedicated to collaborating with local, federal, state, and other agencies to secure assistance for individuals facing temporary hurdles in covering their rental or mortgage payments.

We understand that financial resources can sometimes be scarce, but we want to extend an invitation to apply for assistance through our programs. It’s important to note that if you select “Highest Priority Assistance Type” and it indicates “Nothing,” this signifies that the current limit for applications has been reached. We encourage you to check back regularly, as new appointment slots are continuously added.
