Homeowners Can Reap Big Savings with EPB and TVA EnergyRight's Rebate Programs

Chattanooga, Tennessee – EPB and TVA EnergyRight have joined forces to offer homeowners an incredible opportunity to save thousands of dollars on essential home energy improvements. This collaborative Home Energy Rebate program covers a wide range of improvements, including HVAC unit upgrades, window replacements, water heater installations, enhanced insulation, ductwork enhancements, and more. By participating in this program, homeowners can not only lower their monthly energy bills but also make their homes more comfortable and promote a healthier living environment through improved air quality. TVA has invested a staggering $1.5 billion into this initiative, which is set to benefit homeowners through 2027.

According to Elizabeth Hammitt, Director of Residential Energy and Environmental Solutions, “Reducing energy usage at home is the most effective way to lower monthly bills. The EPB and TVA EnergyRight Home Energy Rebate program helps customers save money twice – first by applying rebates to the upgrades they make at home, and second by enjoying the energy savings that come with them for years to come.”

Here’s how homeowners can qualify and benefit from this program:

  1. Assess Your Needs: Visit EPB.com/energyrebates to determine what improvements your home needs and how much you can potentially save. EPB Energy Pros are available for a complimentary consultation to assess your home and identify energy-saving opportunities.
  2. Choose Quality Contractors: Contractors will carry out the work according to program requirements. It’s crucial to select contractors listed in the Quality Contractor Network at EPB.com/qcn for improvements in existing homes.
  3. Enjoy the Savings: Contractors will handle all the necessary documentation on your behalf. Once the work is complete, participating homeowners will receive an email notification to collect their rebate.

John Watts, Senior Supervisor of Energy Services at EPB, advises, “We recommend customers start by visiting EPB.com/energyrebates and then schedule a call with our EPB Energy Pros to ensure they follow the procedure and get the most money back for their investment. As with all EPB Energy Pros services, these consultations are available at no charge to customers.”

For homeowners making improvements to existing homes, it’s important to work with select contractors listed at EPB.com/qcn to qualify for rebates and benefit from high-quality home energy upgrades that provide long-term savings on energy bills.

Please note that do-it-yourself projects and work completed by contractors not listed at EPB.com/qcn will not be eligible for rebates. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to enhance your home’s energy efficiency and save big on your monthly energy expenses with EPB and TVA EnergyRight’s Home Energy Rebate program.
