Homeowner Assistance Expo Aims to Help Struggling Hamilton County Residents
This Monday from 5 to 7 p.m., Treasurer Jill Schiller will host the second Homeowner Assistance Expo at the Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency (CAA) on Langdon Farm Road. Various local organizations can inform participants about their programs and the eligibility requirements. The first Homeowner Assistance Expo took place at the North Central Branch of the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library on May 21.
“We are excited to bring resources directly to the community,” Schiller said. “The pandemic hit hard for a lot of homeowners. It’s important that people know there’s assistance out there to help keep people in their homes.”
The CAA, Hamilton County Job and Family Services, Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati, and Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati are among the participants. People Working Cooperatively, Housing Opportunities Made Equal, and Pro Seniors will be among the other support organizations in attendance.
