Descripción
Avista Utilities works with customers through the Site-Specific Energy Efficiency Incentives program to identify efficiency opportunities within Washington State facilities. Incentives vary based on efficiency technologies for electric, natural gas, and/or fuel conversion (electric to natural gas only). Incentives are for hard-wired improvements made, and examples of efficiency measures include lighting, heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment, controls or other processes that may be unique to the facility. Incentives do not apply to behavioral modifications. The incentive is based on the first year energy savings (either in kilowatt-hours or therms): the simple payback of the measure prior to the application of an incentive, as calculated by Avista staff and based upon standardized measure cost. Incentives apply to energy savings measures lasting at least 10 years.
Customers should visit Avista’s website for more information, including an incentive level breakdown of electric and natural gas efficiency measures. Contact information for Account Executives working with the program can be found here.
