Cookeville Electric Department, in collaboration with the Tennessee Valley Authority, offers financing for new electric heat pumps through their Energy Right Heat Pump Loan Program. The loan can be financed for up to ten years and added to the customer’s monthly electric bill. The loans come with a low fixed interest rate and may be paid off early with no penalties assessed.
