Farmers RECC offers several incentives to reduce energy use. Please contact the coop for more information on these programs as details are subject to change.

Insulation Rebate: The Button Up program incentivizes investments in insulation to reduce energy loss from your home. A pre- and post-upgrade inspection are required to verify savings. Rebates are calculated using the blower door test.

HVAC Duct Sealing: Farmers RECC offers free duct sealing after an inspection of your home.

Heat Pump Retrofit: Customers can receive up to a $1,000 rebate for installing a new air-to-air pump if they are replacing a ceiling cable, baseboard or electric furnace heat source. The new heater must meet certain qualifications.

Touchstone Energy Home Program: Customers who are building a new home may qualify for a $750 rebate for integrating energy efficiency measures into their building plans. A "pre-drywall checklist" and post construction blower door test are required.

ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebates: Farmers RECC offers rebates for various ENERGY STAR rated appliances. Rebates are also available for recycling refrigerators and freezers.
