Rochester Gas & Electric customers may purchase anywhere from 5% to 100% of their energy from renewable wind energy sources for an additional fee. The wind energy that you purchase is delivered to the power grid for statewide distribution. You will receive a certificate that documents your ownership of air emission and carbon reduction credits.
