In this program, a wide range of services are available to owners of commercial grocery stores, restaurants, and other businesses that utilize refrigeration equipment. A complete energy analysis of refrigeration systems is available free of charge, and rebates are offered on any prescribed changes identified in the analysis. Eligibility: The EnergySmart Grocer Program is available to grocery stores, convenience stores, and supermarkets operating in the Public Utility District’s service area. Incentive Rates: Incentive rates vary based on the measure installed. They are available for auto-closers; gaskets; cases and case lighting, including light emitting diodes; commercial refrigerators and freezers; refrigeration controls; condensers and compressors; motors; and vending machine controllers.
