Evergreen renewable energy comes from wind and waste-to-energy sources such as landfill gas and livestock manure. If customers wish to support renewable energy, they can purchase blocks of energy for an additional $1.50 per 100 kilowatt-hour block per month on top of their normal electric bill. Customers must make a one-year commitment when signing up to participate.
