Welcome Home Program Grants Available Starting March 1

Ronald L. Zimmerly, Jr., president and CEO of Liberty National Bank, announced the bank’s participation in the Welcome Home Program, a grant sponsored by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati. The program was designed to assist eligible homebuyers with down payment or closing costs when purchasing or buying a home, according to a Liberty press release.

Assisting Eligible Low to Moderate Income Home Buyers

Liberty National Bank is participating in the Welcome Home Program, which is a grant sponsored by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati. The Welcome Home Program was designed to assist eligible homebuyers with down payment or closing costs when purchasing or buying a home.

First-Come, First-Served!

The Welcome Home Program provides up to $2,500 in grant money for low to moderate income homebuyers and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Honorably discharged veterans and active-duty military homebuyers may receive Welcome Home grants up to $7,500. Welcome Home funds will be available starting March 1, 2022 and will end when the money is no longer available.

In addition to the grant money, Liberty National Bank is waiving half of the processing fee for approved first-time homebuyers that qualify for the grant.
