Austin Public Utilities offers an energy audit to its business customers. An energy audit will provide: An analysis of your current energy usage; first steps for action; low-cost or no-cost energy saving actions such as sealing gaps, adjusting thermostats, and cleaning filters; less than five-year payback energy saving actions such as weather-stripping and caulking; and higher-cost or longer-payback energy saving actions such as attic or wall insulation, new windows, and equipment or appliance replacement. Commercial customers are eligible to receive an incentive of 25% off the cost of an audit.
