Description
The Colorado Governor’s Energy Office (GEO) is providing rebates to Colorado businesses and organizations who pay commercial utility rates and who purchase and install qualifying photovoltaic (PV), solar water heating, and wind energy systems. Eligible entities can include businesses, nonprofits and agricultural producers that receive 50% or more of their income from agricultural production. Xcel Energy and Black Hills customers do not qualify for PV rebates due to existing incentives. Customers of other utilities may be subject to smaller incentives through this program if their utility has existing incentives. Rebates are only available for equipment purchased on or after April 19, 2010 while funds are available. All applications must be submitted by a contractor on behalf of the commercial applicant. The GEO will issue rebate reservations on a first-come, first-served basis until funding is exhausted. Interested Colorado companies should refer to the website above for complete program details.
