Description

Longmont Power & Communications offers a matching grant incentive to help residential customers cover the cost of making energy efficient upgrades to homes. Eligible equipment includes refrigerators, water heaters, furnaces and evaporative coolers which replace air conditioners. Homes must undergo a blower-door energy audit prior to applying or receiving a grant. Homes must be single family dwellings, duplexes or triplexes. Grants may be used in conjunction with other rebates and incentives. Commercial and industrial customers are not eligible for this matching grant. Customers must complete an application and wait to receive a Notice to Proceed prior to beginning work. Customers may then purchase and install equipment within 60 days of receiving the Notice to Proceed.
