Description

Provides funding for certified energy audits and renewable energy feasibility studies to identify projects eligible for potential future Massachusetts Division of Energy Resources (DOER) funding through the Green Communities Act, utility rebate programs, and/or programs of the Mass Renewable Energy Trust. Energy Audit Program activities are provided to a grantee by contractors hired and paid directly by DOER. The average grant size for an audit is $30,000 on average with a $100,000 maximum per recipient.
