Description

Norwich Public Utilities (NPU) will work directly with a businesses’ team to provide a comprehensive analysis of their facility to evaluate their current energy use and provide options for improving efficiency. The onsite analysis will focus on replacement of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment (boilers, heat pumps, cooling towers, air conditioning units) with more efficient equipment; upgrading refrigeration equipment; evaluation of compressed air systems, including leak surveys, controls, and compressors; and conversion of electric, propane and oil heat, and hot water systems to natural gas. The analysis can include suggested upgrades and costs, estimated energy savings, return on investment time frame, and potential rebates from NPU.
