Description
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), as administrator of the New York Energy $mart program, is seeking proposals to study the feasibility of implementing Combined Heat & Power (CHP) and renewable generation. As part of determining the feasibility of implementing a system, successful applicants may use funds to investigate the sale or distribution of excess energy.
NYSERDA will cost-share up to $50,000 of the cost of selected Technical Assistance Studies performed by an independent Service Provider.
Eligible participants include: industrial and commercial facilities, State and local governments, not-for-profit and private institutions, public and private K-12 schools, colleges and universities, multifamily buildings greater than five (5) units, and health care facilities. NYSERDA is particularly interested in working with New York State electric distribution system customers of Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp., Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc., New York State Electric & Gas Corp., Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation, Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc., or Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation.
