Description

The goal of hourly pricing is to reduce peak demand and shift electricity use to off-peak, less expensive time periods. The program allows customers to measure actual energy use by the hour. Hourly pricing was initiated for customers with a demand of 500 kilowatts or greater, as well as all remaining SC8 and SC14 customers.
