Description

Seattle City Light provides incentives for builders, developers, and architects who construct energy efficient multifamily buildings. The program is designed to encourage the construction of buildings which provide maximum comfort and also incorporate resource conservation. In order to be eligible, the project must be 5 or more units, and all supporting submittals must be received no later than 2 months before certificate of occupancy. All applications may undergo an eligibility review.

Incentives are available for:

• common area and in-unit lighting
• windows and insulation
• appliances
• whole house fans
• heat recovery ventilators
• heat pump water heaters
• heat pump dryers
• heat pumps for in-unit space heat
• Built Green certification (for townhouse developments w/ 5+ units)
• Custom incentives
