Description
Note: Southeast Colorado Power’s partner contributions to the GEO rebate program have been exhausted.
Southeast Colorado Power Association provides rebates for the installation of photovoltaic (PV) and wind systems. These incentives can be combined with the rebates offered by the state through the Governor’s Energy Office.
Customers should first contact SECPA and obtain an Application for Interconnection. If a qualifying facility’s nameplate capacity is greater than 10 kW, then Qualifying Facility Design Data Requirements are also required.
SECPA will notify the customer within ten business days concerning whether or not the application is complete and, if not, advises what material is missing. Provided all the criteria in the Interconnection Standards for Cogenerators and Small Power Producers are met, SECPA usually approves and executes the application and returns it to the customer. Prior to parallel operation, SECPA will inspect the facility for compliance with standards.
