The University of Massachusetts IAC operates within the Department for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. Assessments are offered to small- and medium-sized manufacturing plants (Standard Industrial Codes 20-39) in the New England area with gross annual sales of less than $100 million, not more than 500 employees, no in-house energy expert, and energy costs totaling $100,000 to $2.5 million per year.
