Avista Utilities offers incentives to customers who improve refrigeration efficiency through its Supermarket and Grocery Store Refrigeration Rebate program. The utility will first conduct an energy analysis of a store’s refrigerating and lighting, create an in-depth report reflecting the findings, and issue recommendations on how energy usage may be cut. Rebates are offered for a wide variety of energy efficient equipment, and are based upon EnergySmart’s Supermarket & Grocery Store Rebate Table. Incentives typically cover from 20% up to 100% of project costs.
