ConEdison Demand Management Program offers incentives for installing qualified energy efficiency technologies that reduce the grid peak load. Incentives are available for range of technologies including on-site energy storage, HVAC controls, chillers, and other demand management technologies.
Eligibility: Only ConEdison large electric customers are eligible for the program.
Program Description: The incentive amount ranges from $720kW up to $2,520/kW based on the technology for each peak demand reduction. The maximum incentive per project is not specified, but is capped at 70% of the project costs. Interested applicants must submit an application packet including complete application, statement of work, and cost estimate to the program administrator by November 15 2019 to be considered the program.
The demand management technology must be able to provide peak demand reduction periods as specified by ConEd. The on-peak hours include between 2pm to 6pm Monday through Friday from June 1 to September 30.
