Housing Authority of South Bend’s New Executive Director Takes the Helm
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – In a significant move for local housing, the Housing Authority of South Bend has unanimously voted to appoint Marsha Parham-Green as its new executive director. Marsha Parham-Green brings a wealth of experience to South Bend, having previously held the position of executive director at the Housing Office for Baltimore County Government in Maryland. Her tenure in Baltimore County was marked by significant achievements, including the expansion of the housing office’s budget from $57 million to an impressive $92 million. Under her leadership, numerous families transitioned from public housing assistance to homeownership, a testament to the effectiveness of the programs she oversaw.
Additionally, Parham-Green’s career includes a notable period as the Director of Finance and Administration for the Housing Commission of Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Her expertise in financial management and administration played a crucial role in her previous positions, contributing to her reputation as a skilled and dynamic housing professional.
