Pennsylvania Residents Can Access $975 for Mortgage or Rent Assistance

The Pennsylvania State Government has established the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program, aimed at supporting eligible homeowners, renters, and individuals with disabilities. The program has so far distributed over $121.7 million to over 260,000 individuals.

To be considered for the rebate, applicants must meet certain income criteria. Those earning less than $8,000 per year can receive a rebate of $650, while those earning up to $35,000 per year can receive a rebate of $250. To learn more about the eligibility and income requirements, individuals are encouraged to visit the MyPath website or review the state’s guidelines.

Once approved, recipients will receive their rebate in the form of a direct deposit or check. They can also track the status of their rebate through the state’s online tool, “Where’s My Rebate?” The standard rebate amount is $650, but eligible homeowners may be able to receive a supplemental rebate, bringing the total payout to $975.
