LAKE PLACID — In a significant move to support local initiatives, the Town of North Elba officials in New York announced on Friday that they are awarding over $371,000 in grants to various local organizations. Among the recipients are the Adirondack Carousel, Adirondack Mountain Club, Lake Placid Central School District, and Shipman Youth Center.
