Brooklyn Ohio Exterior Home Repair Grants Are Back for 2026

Brooklyn, Ohio homeowners can get up to $3,500 to improve their home's exterior. The city's popular Exterior Home Repair Grant program is accepting applications now through April 2, 2026.

How Much Can You Get?

The program provides up to $3,500 in funding for eligible exterior home improvement projects.

What Projects Qualify?

The grant covers these exterior repairs and replacements:

  • Driveway repair or replacement
  • Roof replacement
  • Window replacement
  • Sidewalk repair or replacement
  • Siding replacement
  • Exterior painting
  • Garage door replacement

Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the grant, you must meet these requirements:

  • The property must be a single-family home
  • It must be your primary residence
  • You must be current on all property and city taxes

"People take pride in their homes in our city, which we're very grateful for," Brooklyn Mayor Ron Van Kirk told Cleveland.com. "This is just another way to help."
