Bulloch Strong has opened an intake process for a limited number of roof grant awards for homeowners affected by Tropical Storm Debby. The assistance is intended to provide eligible residents with new storm-resistant FORTIFIED Roof™ systems.
Who may qualify?
- The home must be in Bulloch County and must have been the applicant’s primary residence during Tropical Storm Debby.
- The applicant must own only that home.
- The household must be at or below 120% of Area Median Income.
- Funds are prioritized for uninsured and underinsured homeowners.
- Mobile homes, homes in a floodway, dry-stack construction, and deferred-maintenance-only repairs are excluded under the listed rules.
How to apply
Review the requirements on Bulloch Strong’s official program page and complete the Tropical Storm Debby Fortified Roof Intake Form. The page says homeowners who are unsure whether they qualify can still submit the form so a case manager can review eligibility.
Deadline or window
Funding is limited and available only while grant awards remain.
