
Citrus Heights Homeowners Can Get Up to $20,000 in Repair Grants or $60,000 in Loans
Citrus Heights homeowners may be able to get help fixing unsafe or serious home problems through the city’s Housing Rehabilitation Program.
The program is open for eligible homeowners and uses housing funds to help make homes safer, healthier, and easier to live in.
How much help is available?
- Up to $20,000 in grants for emergency health and safety repairs in manufactured or mobile homes.
- Up to $5,000 in accessibility grants for eligible seniors age 65 or older or people who are permanently disabled.
- Up to $60,000 through the Single-Family Rehabilitation Loan Program for major health, safety, and habitability repairs.
Who may qualify?
Homeowners must live in Citrus Heights and meet income limits. The city lists the 2026 limit at 80% of Area Median Income. For example, the annual limit is $73,600 for a 1-person household, $84,100 for a 2-person household, and $105,100 for a 4-person household.
The home generally must be owner-occupied. Some programs are for single-family homes, manufactured homes, condos, or half-plexes.
