Efficiency Arizona Rebates: Homeowners Can Get Up to $14,000 for Electric Upgrades

Arizona households may qualify for up to $14,000 in energy rebates
Efficiency Arizona is offering rebates for qualified households that install high-efficiency appliances and HVAC equipment. The program can cover a percentage of project costs, up to $14,000 per household, depending on income and eligibility.
Rebate amounts listed by the program
- Heat pump for space heating or cooling: up to $8,000
- Heat pump water heater: up to $1,750
- Electric stove, cooktop, range, or oven: up to $840
- Heat pump clothes dryer: up to $840
- Insulation, air sealing, and ventilation: up to $1,600
- Electric load service center or panel: up to $4,000
- Electric wiring: up to $2,500
Electrical panel and wiring rebates are only eligible when paired with a qualified appliance installation.
Two ways to use the program
- Contractor path: for heat pumps, water heaters, dryers, cooking appliances, insulation, air sealing, wiring, and panel upgrades
- Retail path: for heat pump water heaters, heat pump dryers, and electric cooking appliances
How to apply
Homeowners can create an account and apply through the Efficiency Arizona application portal. The application usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes, but it may take longer if documents are not ready.
