Homeowners in Euclid, Ohio can now get money to fix their homes. The city will pay up to 75% of repair costs.
How Much Money Can You Get?
The Housing Accessibility and Rehabilitation Grant Program gives you up to $7,500. The city pays 75% and you pay 25%.
For example, if your repair costs $5,000, the city pays $3,750 and you pay $1,250.
What Repairs Are Covered?
The grant covers important home fixes:
- New roof
- New windows and doors
- Furnace replacement
- Hot water tank
- Electrical upgrades
- Plumbing repairs
- Wheelchair ramps
- Grab bars for bathrooms
Who Can Apply?
You must meet these rules:
- Own and live in your Euclid home for at least one year
- Be current on mortgage payments
- Be current on property taxes
- Meet HUD income limits for your family size
What Is NOT Covered?
The grant will not pay for:
- Code violations
- Point-of-Sale inspection issues
- Repairs covered by home insurance
- Multiple projects at once (choose one)
Where Does The Money Come From?
The funds come from Community Development Block Grants. These are federal dollars from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
