
Hawaii Energy Rebates Offer Up to $2,750 for Home Energy Upgrades
What Is Available
Hawaii Energy has launched its 2026-27 rebate program for residents and businesses.
The program includes residential rebates for cooling, water heating, appliances, and lighting upgrades.
How Much Homeowners Can Get
Solar water heater rebates can be worth up to $2,750.
Other residential rebates include up to $700 for a heat pump water heater, up to $550 per mini split air conditioner, $1,250 for central air conditioning retrofit work, and $250 for an ENERGY STAR refrigerator trade-up.
Who Can Apply
The rebates are available to electric utility ratepayers on Hawaii Island, Lanai, Maui, Molokai, and Oahu.
Kauai residents are not eligible through this program because Kauai is served by a separate utility cooperative.
How To Apply
The rebate program is available through June 30, 2027, while funding lasts.
