Las Vegas Homeowners Can Get Up to $7,500 to Fix Water Leaks

Las Vegas homeowners with active water leaks may be able to get financial help through the Drip Repair and Intervention Program.

How much help is available?

Qualifying homeowners can receive up to $7,500 in financial aid. The city pays the contractor directly after the repair is complete.

Who can qualify?

  • Home must be inside Las Vegas city limits.
  • Home must be the owner’s primary residence.
  • Household income must be below 80% of area median income.
  • The home must have an active water leak that qualifies for the program.

What can the money cover?

Funding can be used to fix water leaks at the home, including leaks from the on-site service line that connects the home to the water meter.

How to apply

  1. Apply through the city’s Neighborly Software portal.
  2. Work with city staff to document the leak and eligibility.
  3. Get three repair estimates with city staff.
  4. Choose a contractor and complete the approved repair.
