Madison received $350,000 to help homeowners make needed repairs
The City of Madison, Indiana, was awarded a $350,000 Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs. The money will help create a local program for low- and moderate-income homeowners who need important home repairs.

- Lighting and electrical upgrades
- Water heater replacement
Who the grant is meant to help
The program is for owner-occupied homes. It focuses on homeowners with low or moderate incomes who may not be able to afford major repairs on their own.
