North Las Vegas is offering up to $25,000 for home improvements in its redevelopment district

Homeowners in parts of North Las Vegas can apply for reimbursement grants through a new residential curb appeal program. The city says the goal is to help property owners improve older neighborhoods near City Hall and other redevelopment areas.

How much money homeowners can get

  • Up to $25,000 per eligible home
  • The program reimburses approved improvement costs after the work is finished
  • The city said reimbursement may arrive in about 30 days after completion

What the grant can cover

  • Roof repairs
  • Paint
  • Windows and doors
  • Landscaping and tree work
  • Other exterior curb-appeal improvements approved by the city

Who is eligible

  • You must own property in the city’s designated redevelopment district
  • You must apply and receive approval before starting work
  • Licensed Nevada contractors may be required for the improvements

How to apply

  1. Check whether your property falls inside the eligible district on the North Las Vegas website
  2. Submit an application before work begins
  3. Wait for city approval
  4. Complete the project using qualified contractors
  5. Request reimbursement after the work is done

Applications are open now, and the city said bilingual help is available for Spanish-speaking applicants.

Bottom line: Homeowners in the target district can apply for a substantial reimbursement grant today, making this one of the more actionable local repair opportunities in the alert batch.
