How much money is available?
The Strengthen Oklahoma Homes program will pay up to $10,000 toward a FORTIFIED roof upgrade.

- Homeowners with active homeowners insurance and wind coverage
- Homeowners who can complete the required FORTIFIED evaluation process
What does the grant cover?

The grant money is paid directly to the contractor after the work is finished and approved. If the job costs more than $10,000, the homeowner pays the extra amount. The homeowner also pays the evaluator fee.

- Apply through the grant portal when the cycle is open
- Choose a certified FORTIFIED evaluator from the program list
- After approval, get bids from qualified contractors
