Orange County Indiana Opens Applications for Home Repair Grants

Orange County, Indiana homeowners can now apply for grants to cover critical home repairs and improvements. The Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Grant program is accepting applications with key dates announced for February and March 2026.

Important Dates

Application Meetings: Wednesday, February 4, 2026

  • 11:00 a.m. session
  • 5:00 p.m. session
  • Location: Commissioners Room, Courthouse Annex

Applications will be officially released at these meetings. If you're interested in the program, attend one of these sessions to receive the necessary materials and learn about eligibility requirements.

Help Session: Wednesday, February 18, 2026

  • 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Location: Commissioners Room, Courthouse Annex

This session is for homeowners who need assistance completing their applications.

Application Deadline: Tuesday, March 3, 2026

What Does the Grant Cover?

The program provides assistance for critical home repairs and improvements to owner-occupied properties. Eligibility requirements and funding amounts will be shared at the February 4 application meetings.

Who Can Apply?

Eligible homeowners must own and occupy the property as their primary residence. Additional qualification details will be provided at the application meetings.
