Oregon Homeowners Can Apply for Up to $50,000 in Mortgage Help

Grants for Homeowners Team
June 10, 2026

Oregon has reopened its Homeowner Assistance Fund for homeowners who are in danger of foreclosure.

How much money is available?

Eligible homeowners can get up to $50,000 in mortgage relief. The money is paid directly to the mortgage servicer.

Who may qualify?

  • You own and live in the home.
  • You are at least 90 days behind on your mortgage.
  • Your household income is at or below 150% of area median income.
  • Your mortgage meets conforming loan limits.
  • Your mortgage servicer can accept Oregon HAF payments.

How to apply

Start by completing the Oregon HAF Attestation Form. If Oregon Housing and Community Services says you may qualify, you will get a secure document portal invite.

After that invite, you have 14 days to upload your Third Party Authorization form and income documents.

Deadline or window

The portal is open while funds remain. Applications are reviewed on a first-completed, first-served basis, so homeowners should submit documents quickly.

Apply or learn more from Oregon Housing and Community Services.
