Pottstown Pennsylvania Extends $6,000 Homebuyer Grants and $1,500 Facade Grants
Pottstown residents now have until December 31, 2026, to apply for expanded homebuyer and facade improvement grants in eligible neighborhoods.
What the program offers
Hobart's Run and the Pottstown Regional Community Foundation extended an expanded homeowner incentive and facade improvement program through December 31, 2026.
Eligible homebuyers can receive $6,000 toward closing costs and a home purchase in the Hobart's Run focus area or the designated transit-oriented development area.
Eligible Hobart's Run neighborhood residents can also apply for facade improvement grants of up to $1,500. The money can help with street-facing improvements such as porches, steps, fencing, landscaping, and other curb appeal work.
Who may qualify
Homebuyer grant applicants must buy in the eligible area, move into the home as their main residence, and close by December 31, 2026.
Applicants cannot have owned another home in the past two years and must be moving from renting into homeownership. The program gives priority to long-time Pottstown residents and renters with local ties.
Successful applicants must complete first-time homebuyer and financial literacy education.
How to apply
Applications are open now at hobartsrunpottstown.org/property-pride.
For the $6,000 homebuyer grant, closing must happen on or before December 31, 2026.
For the $1,500 facade grant, eligible work must be finished by December 31, 2026, to receive reimbursement.
