South Fulton Seniors Can Apply for Up to $25,000 in Home Repair Grants

Senior homeowners in South Fulton, Georgia can apply for home repair help worth up to $25,000.

The City of South Fulton is accepting applications for its Senior Homeowner Rehabilitation Program. The program is funded through the federal Community Development Block Grant program.

What Repairs Are Covered?

The grant can help pay for important home repairs, including:

  • Electrical work
  • Plumbing work
  • Roof replacement
  • HVAC systems
  • Windows
  • Mold remediation
  • ADA accessibility updates

The money is a grant, so it does not have to be repaid.

Who May Qualify?

Applicants must be at least 62 years old.

They must own and live in a single-family home in South Fulton as their main home. They must also have homeowner's insurance, be current on mortgage payments and property taxes, and meet federal household income rules.

How to Apply

Homeowners can apply through the City of South Fulton at cityofsouthfultonga.gov/senior-rehab.

Residents can also email housing@cityofsouthfultonga.gov or call 470-855-5778.

In-person application help is scheduled at Welcome All Park, 4255 Will Lee Road, South Fulton, on July 9 from noon to 3 p.m. and July 15 from noon to 3 p.m.

Deadline

Applications are open through July 31. Applications will be processed in order of eligibility and receipt until funds run out.
