South Fulton Seniors Can Apply for Up to $25,000 in Home Repair Grants

The City of South Fulton, Georgia is accepting applications for its Senior Homeowner Rehabilitation Program. Eligible senior homeowners can receive up to $25,000 in home repairs.

The help is provided as a grant, which means it does not have to be repaid.

Who can apply?

Applicants must be 62 or older and own and live in a single-family home in South Fulton as their main residence.

Homeowners must also have homeowner’s insurance, be current on mortgage payments and property taxes, and meet federal household income guidelines.

What repairs are covered?

The program can cover electrical work, plumbing, roof replacement, HVAC systems, windows, mold remediation, and ADA accessibility changes.

Deadline

Applications are open through July 31, 2026. Applications will be processed based on eligibility and the order they are received until funds run out.

How to apply

Homeowners can apply through the city at cityofsouthfultonga.gov/senior-rehab. They can also email housing@cityofsouthfultonga.gov or call 470-855-5778.

In-person help sessions are scheduled at Welcome All Park, 4255 Will Lee Road, South Fulton, on July 9 and July 15 from noon to 3 p.m.
