Stanton homeowners can apply for up to $10,000 in rehab help
The City of Stanton, Michigan, received $400,000 from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority through a Community Development Block Grant. The money will support homeowner rehabilitation projects inside the city.
How much is available
Eligible homeowners may receive up to $10,000 for qualifying projects. Local reporting says the city expects to approve at least 40 projects.
Basic eligibility
- The home must be inside Stanton city limits
- The homeowner must meet program rules and income limits
- The project must qualify under the city program guidelines
How to apply
Applications are available at Stanton City Hall, 225 S. Camburn St., Stanton, MI 48888. The city has also posted a flyer and program guidelines online for homeowners who want to review eligible projects and income limits before applying.
