
Streator IL Home Rehab Grants: Up to $60,000 for Repairs
Streator, Illinois homeowners can apply for help fixing up their homes. The city has new Community Development Block Grant funding for housing rehabilitation.

Who qualifies
- Live in a single-family, owner-occupied home inside Streator city limits.
- Meet low-to-moderate income limits for La Salle County.
- Priority may go to very low-income households, residents with disabilities, and homeowners age 62+.
How to apply
Go to the public meeting at Streator City Hall (204 S. Bloomington St.) at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9. Applications will be available there. Bring proof of income for everyone age 18+, your homeowner’s insurance declaration page, your real estate tax bill, and current gas and electric utility bills.
