Volusia County Homeowners Can Apply for Transform386 Repair, Rebuild, and Reimbursement Help
Volusia County homeowners impacted by Hurricane Ian and/or Hurricane Milton can now apply for help through the Transform386 Homeowner Recovery Program.
The official Transform386 site says the application portal is now open for homeowners seeking aid through the county’s Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery program.
What kind of help is available?
Transform386 says the homeowner program can support several recovery paths, including rehabilitation for homes still needing repairs, site-built reconstruction or mobile home replacement, reimbursement for qualifying repairs already completed, voluntary buyout opportunities, and matching assistance for eligible Elevate Florida or FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program elevation projects.
Who can qualify?
Official county materials say applicants must meet program eligibility rules, including storm impact and ownership requirements. Volusia County materials also say income can be eligible up to 120% of area median income, with priority for lower-income households and households that include children, older adults, or disabled members.
How to apply
Homeowners can apply through the Transform386 application portal. Applicants with portal questions can use the help desk numbers listed on the official site, and Volusia County is also holding in-person intake events to help homeowners complete applications.
