Wellington, Florida: Get Up to $50,000 for Home Repairs — Applications Open May 1
Wellington, Florida is opening a new round of housing rehabilitation help for homeowners who need major repairs.

Eligible homeowners may receive up to $50,000 in repair assistance through the village's CDBG and SHIP owner-occupied housing rehabilitation programs.
Who can apply?

- You must meet the program's low-to-moderate income rules.

How the program works
The village says assistance is offered as a forgivable loan secured by a lien on the property for five years. Awards depend on the approved repair scope and the winning contractor bid.
How applications are ranked
Applications are reviewed on a first-qualified, first-served basis. Under the SHIP program, priority may go first to special-needs households, essential services workers, and other income-eligible households.
