Program Overview
GNND makes homes in designated revitalization areas available to eligible public service professionals at fifty percent off the list price. Purchasers must commit to living in the property as sole residence for at least 36 months.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible law enforcement officers, pre-K through 12th grade teachers, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians. Must commit to 36-month occupancy as sole residence in revitalization area.
Additional Requirements
Proof of employment in eligible profession. Must purchase home in HUD-designated revitalization area. Cannot own other residential property at time of purchase.
How to Apply
1. Register on HUD website 2. Browse available properties in revitalization areas 3. Submit offer through HUD-registered real estate agent 4. Obtain financing and close on property 5. Occupy as primary residence for 36 months minimum
