Program Overview
Enhanced assistance for 2-4 unit properties: 2 Units receive $8,000 ($5,000 + $3,000), 3 Units receive $11,000 ($5,000 + $6,000), and 4 Units receive $14,000 ($5,000 + $9,000). Additional requirement includes approved landlord education course plus homebuyer education. 1% minimum borrower contribution required.
Eligibility Requirements
• Purchase of 2-4 unit property\n• Must complete approved landlord education course PLUS homebuyer education\n• 1% minimum borrower contribution\n• MaineHousing First Home Loan required
Additional Requirements
• Complete both homebuyer and landlord education courses\n• 2-4 unit property\n• First Home Loan mortgage
