MaineHousing honors Maine's military personnel with 0.50% rate discount - half percent off the already low First Home Loan 30-year fixed rate. This discount saves thousands over life of loan and is available whether you're first-time buyer or repeat buyer. SaluteME is for military personnel who are first-time homebuyers, while Salute Home Again is for military who have previously owned a home (waives first-time buyer requirement).
Eligibility Requirements
• Active duty military, veterans with honorable discharge, retired military, National Guard, or Reservists\n• All military branches: Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force\n• No first-time buyer requirement
