Federal and state-funded program providing free energy efficiency improvements to low-income homeowners, reducing utility bills and improving home comfort and safety.
Eligibility Requirements
Household income at or below 200% of federal poverty level Priority for elderly, disabled, and families with children Must own and occupy the home Home must be suitable for weatherization improvements No cost to qualified homeowners

How to Apply
Contact the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA) or your local Community Action Agency. Complete application with income documentation. Home energy audit will be conducted to determine improvements.
