Meanwhile, North Carolina is offering a boost to low-income homeowners in Greensboro by providing a stimulus check of $150. This payment serves as a rebate on property tax and is administered through the Low-Income Homeowner Assistance Program. Applicants can submit their claim for this payment up until June 15 of this year. To qualify, applicants must have lived in their property in North Carolina for at least five years and their property must have a tax value below $250,000.
