The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving awarded the Housing Development Fund (HDF) a $600,000 grant in November 2023 to expand the Homeownership Equity Fund CT, providing zero-percent down payment and closing-cost loans to first-time BIPOC homebuyers across the 29-town Greater Hartford region.
